Mary Ellen Conlee

Ms. Conlee has been providing lobbying services in Kansas for more than 30 years. Prior to opening her own consulting firm, Ms. Conlee served as the Director of Public Affairs for the City of Wichita from 1979 – 1984. In that capacity, she directed all Public Affairs activities including community relations, media relations and legislative liaison activities as well as employee newsletter preparation and production. In addition, she established radio and TV coverage for the City commission meetings through a joint effort with Wichita State University, setting up both radio and cable TV studios at City Hall.
In addition to operating her Kansas-based lobbying consulting firm, Ms. Conlee owned a full service marketing, advertising and public relations firm, Cope Daley McCrea, in Breckenridge, CO from 1987 through 1999. The Colorado firm developed and managed the summer marketing activities for the Town of Breckenridge and the Resort Chamber of Commerce as well as representing several area resorts and the Colorado Community College in Breckenridge.
Conlee holds a BA in Economics from Bates College, Master in Arts in Teaching from Smith College, plus 30 hours of graduate public administration courses from Wichita State University.

Kim is available to CCG clients under a separately negotiated contract to enhance the public relations, marketing and communication strategies necessary for the success of a project. She has 15 years of experience managing national and international public relations accounts including 3 years in the Los Angeles and 2 years in the Paris offices of Manning Selvage and Lee. She has done freelance work in Wichita since 2002. Kim holds a BSJ in Business Communications and BA in French from the University of Kansas.
